The Latest Craze–Calling on Satan to "Come Out & Play"

IT MAKES SENSE TO ME

By Larry Peterson

Satan is the Great Impostor, the King of Lies, the Master of all Hate. He was God’s greatest angel and decided that he was even better than God. So, the “created” tried to overwhelm the Creator. Having made this choice he and his followers were  cast out of God’s world for all eternity. We mortal beings cannot even imagine the hate that fills these fallen spirits. Their hate is so great and pervasive because there can never be redemption for them. Consequently, they prowl around the world seeking new recruits to join them in their misery. They may have hit the “motherload” via the Internet.

The latest Internet game filling the cyber environment is called the “Charlie Charlie Challenge”. A game that is being promoted as innocent has, as its objective, the goal of summoning the devil. Here is what I cannot fathom. In a world gone secular and trying to eliminate God from our existence why are thousands upon thousands of people, especially young people, trying to conjure up a confrontation with Satan himself? Many want to reject God and His Goodness and Love…yet are willing to call on Satan to have a “good time”.

How bizarre is this? Satan (aka the Devil) is the opposite of GOOD. He is HATE . All that is UNgood comes from Satan.  There could never be a Satan without a God who created him in the first place. Yet people want to summon him up and talk to him, while at the same time claiming there is no God or that God is irrelevant in their lives. It DOES Not Make sense To Me.

The “Charlie Charlie Challenge” apparently came from the game being played in the Dominican Republic and then uploaded to YouTube.  April 29 is when it began and it spread to Twitter. Today it has gone viral. The two pencil game involves drawing a grid on a piece of paper with two sections labeled “yes” and two sections labeled “no”. One pencil is balanced on top of the other pencil and then questions are asked; such as, “Charlie, are you here?” If he is “there” the pencil will move to the “yes” section. The main question then asked is “Can we play?” The fact that the slightest environmental change can cause the pencil on top to move is completely ignored.
The Charlie Charlie Challenge is a phenomena that is readily explainable.

There are two kinds of pride: negative and positive. Positive pride has to do with such things as being proud of your family or being proud of an accomplishment worked for and earned through personal hard work and sacrifice. Negative pride is all about self. If a person places their wants and perceived needs above all else and will attempt anything to satisfy those needs, that is when Pride becomes the greatest sin.

This “Charlie Charlie Challenge” is simply a reflection of how ridiculously self-serving so many have become in this meistic secularized society. It is Pride gone rogue. First, reject God and bash religion. The follow that and embrace God’s first creations, who are Satan, and his fallen angels. Play games with them, have fun with them, and see where it gets you. There is an old adage that says, “The devil you get might be worse than the one that you have”.

So PLEASE–be careful what you ask for. Where the “Charlie Charlie Challenge” takes you can prove damning. But it is never too late. Unlike the demons you have been hanging with, you are still eligible for God’s mercy and forgiveness. It is only too late after you die. It is time to kick the “Charlie Charlie Challenge” back into the Hell it came from lest you get dragged in with it.

Evil vs Good: It May be Time to for EVERYONE to Choose Sides

IT MAKES SENSE TO ME

by Larry Peterson

It seems that now, in the early 21st century, people of faith have been thrust into the Canyon of Decision. This is  a place where a personal decision must be made and only two choices are available. Those choices are Good vs Evil. God is the perfection of all that is GOOD. Satan is the owner of all that is EVIL. Satan hates exponentially. He hates everything and everyone, including his own followers.

He has tried throughout the ages to convince himself that by destroying the God of Love he might find some unattainable and perverted joy. He has been wrong and knows in his deformed and blackened self that he can NEVER destroy God, his own creator. It follows that he can also NEVER feel joy or happiness of any kind. He also knows that he has no one to blame for his condition but himself.  So “hate” is his thing. Nothing can “hate” like the Prince of Darkness”.

All of those before us, from Adam  and Eve on down, have already chosen the side they would follow. Their eternity has been established by their using their God given free will. We, the living and the ones that will live on after us, are still faced with one of the two choices. Do we choose God and His Love or do we choose Satan and his empty, sugar coated, phony promises? We must consider that the evil wrought by Satan is more powerful than 50 Ebola—no, a thousand times a thousand Ebola virus. It permeates the very soul of humankind and eats it away with a subtle ferocity that is hard to comprehend. He is the master of disguise hiding his evil agenda under a fake banner of virtue. So many of us fall for it.

We ask ourselves how can a “civilized” person behead a child? How can a “civilized” person invoke the name of a god who supposedly condones and approves such hatred and viciousness? This evil committed can only be demonically encouraged. Yet these are the “shock  and awe” methods used to put fear into our hearts. They succeed at striking fear into many of us. Murder, rape, pillaging, looting and genocide are part of the “shock and awe” method also.

It happened right here in America the other day. In red-state Oklahoma a follower of all that is Evil beheaded an innocent woman just because she was an American. This was smack dab right in the middle of America’s heartland. The same place where a “black mass” was held only a few days earlier. How devious. How cunning. How horrible is this enemy of Goodness.

However, there are many more subtle methods Satan uses to gather new followers. Television, movies, the Internet, social media and social networking and the music industry to name a few. These all promote promiscuity, abortion, euthanasia, denigrate marriage between a man and a woman and celebrate the hedonistic lifestyle of  self-gratification and personal pleasure no matter what the cost or consequence. They say it is our RIGHT to  pleasure ourselves. Those that say differently are branded as extremists, fanatics, racists, homophobes or advocates of ‘hate’. How twisted this is.

You know what? They are dead wrong. It is NOT our right. Yet this message has grabbed hold of many and is now part of our culture. Our young have been indoctrinated into this godless mind set of pure secularism. Satan is laughing as he sees more and more of God’s children turning away from their faith in Him and Goodness for a world  that ultimately leads to personal death and the final loss of one’s soul. The war against God and Goodness is now worldwide.

We Catholic/Christians, each and every one, must be prepared to engage in this fight, not only for all of what is Good but for our own souls. Satan is after each of us. He has been successful in acquiring millions of recruits. Many fend him off and cast him away. This could be Armageddon. So love your faith, embrace it, and then fight for it. “Lip service” may no longer be enough. The reward shall be great. Ignore it and you might be lost in the bottom of the Canyon of Decision.

 From the Book of Revelations:
Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who is awake, keeping his garments that he may not go naked and people see him exposed.!” And they assembled them at the place which is called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Rev 16: 15-16

From the First Good Friday through Today, the Persecution of LOVE & GOOD Has Never Ended

by Larry Peterson

On Palm Sunday, Christians the world over remember the triumphant entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem more than 2000 years ago.  Riding on the back of a donkey, He was welcomed and praised as the Saviour and Messiah by people waving palms and laying palm fronds in front of Him.  Five days later, many of these same people, suddenly bloated with an evil-induced hatred,  scornfully screamed for him to be crucified.  Jesus Christ changed the world forever. He was the ultimate example of LOVE and GOOD. He loved His brothers and sisters, no matter who they were.  I guess that made Him a threat to many so they tortured and killed Him.  As the centuries passed by, countless followers of  LOVE and GOOD have met similar fates and this persecution and savagery continues unabated to this very day.

Only last week on April 7, Father Frans Van der Lugt, 75, was brutally beaten and shot to death in Syria. Why? He followed Jesus and loved his neighbor.  Last November, North Korea executed 80 Christians. Why? They each had their own bible. As we travel back over the timeline of history Christian persecution is splattered all over it.  Sister Maria Restituta was a nun and a nurse in Germany during World War II. She was guillotined in 1944. Why?  Because she refused to take down a crucifix from a bedroom wall in a hospital.  Father Otto Neururer was a Catholic priest who had the audacity to perform an “illegal” baptism.  He was sent to Buchenwald concentration camp and, under the direction of Martin Summer, aka “The Hangman of Buchenwald”, was hanged upside down and left that way until he died. The Nazi era is littered with the corpses of not only millions of Jews, but also of Catholic/Christians whose main crime was usually helping their brother and sister Jews. When all is said and done their crime was always one of embracing what is LOVE and what is GOOD.

There are the Martyrs of Nagasaki, 26 men and boys, crucified in Japan on February 5, 1597. Why?  They followed and preached LOVE and GOOD.  Pope John Paul II canonized 25 martyred priests who had been murdered between 1927 and 1928 during the Cristero War in Mexico.  During these dark days in Mexico thousands of others were also killed for following LOVE and GOOD.  From Jesus Christ, to his apostles, to the early Christians being mauled to death in the Colosseum,  to the Holocaust and onward to Father Frans Van der Lugt on April 7, 2014, the bloody war against LOVE and GOOD advances undeterred.  Ironically, this war can never win its hate-filled quest to rid the world of its despised enemy.

I could go on and on because there have been so many, many people tortured and killed for following LOVE and GOOD that the stories would fill volumes. But there is one group of 16 followers of LOVE and GOOD that I must mention because I believe they saved a nation from its own self-destruction. Those 16 people are all women and are known as  the  Carmelite Martyrs of Compiegne. These women, holding hands and singing, willingly offered themselves to the guillotine if it could bring an end to the horrors of the French Revolution. One by one they smilingly went to their deaths. Under Maximilien Robespierre the bloodlust and hatred toward Catholics raged as the twisted virtues of the Age of Enlightenment and the Reign of Terror mixed their evil brew into a daily severing of heads before screaming mobs. Not this time. On July 17, 1794 that all ended.

The mob was gleefully screaming when the nuns were brought to the execution site. While holding hands the  nuns began singing  Salve Regina and Veni Creator Spiritus. Suddenly, the thousands of people present fell silent. The only sound to be heard was the thump of the guillotine as it went about it its impersonal savagery. When the executions were finished the witnessing mob had changed.  Instead of cheers there were tears and sobs and heads hung low. People began to pray.  Ten days later Robespierre was executed and the French Revolution and Reign of Terror ended.  The evil was evaporated under the power of LOVE and GOOD.  The 16 courageous nuns were beatified and declared “Blessed” in May of 1906 by Pope St. Pius X. Their canonization is pending. Talk about courage. Talk about LOVE. Talk about all that is GOOD.  Theirs changed a nation.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the very fulfillment of all that is LOVE and GOOD because GOD is LOVE and LOVE is GOD. The fact that His life and death changed the world forever seems to be passed over by many who think  that part of the story is a mere fable.  Well, for those who believe, no explanation is necessary and for those who do not, none is possible unless they open their minds and hearts and ask to see the unseeable. Then, they too will see. For all those who have given their very lives for this LOVE and for those who will in the future, theirs are the stories we should all honor and embrace.  HAPPY EASTER & HAPPY PASSOVER

P.S.  Question: How come no one was ever able to find the Body?
