A Remarkable Woman My Grandma

MY GRANDMA  by Marissa Peterson

Marissa and her Grandma

A Remarkable Person

Today I write this poem, I write it just for you

I promise I’ll remember you when you were happy

And not so much when you were blue.

I could tell you everything and you’d know just what to do

Today I write this poem and I write it just for you.

I want to say I love you in every single way

I write this poem and I mean everything I say

I know you are watching over me even though it is hard to see

I pay you all my love for you deserve it truly.

You’ll be with me forever helping me overcome

Jumping over obstacles  as if they were Already done

Helping me to the finish line like you did all  of the time

I want to thank you for being there a remarkable person who is in God’s care

Friends you had will miss you so but it was your time to go

I love you and I miss you so I just wanted you to know

We gather here to celebrate your life, a new one of everlasting light.

In Loving memory of My Grandma     Loretta Marie Peterson
